Our Story
Hi! We're Gemma & Nick, and we live on our little slice of heaven, a 7 acre hobby farm in East Warburton.
We took over ownership of Chicken Coops in Warburton (aka Avonsleigh) in January 2025, which is now based on our property, Leith Hill.
We build the coops ourselves, and our kids & stepdad also help out so it’s a real family business �

New stainless steel drinkers
Introducing our new stainless steel drinkers!
These are the same concept as our original drinkers, but in an upgraded, stainless steel version!
Everything is still the same, they are gravity fed, self filling water bowls that come with a 20L water tank; just now with the added bonus of being super quick and easy to clean out with a drainage hole & quicker refill.
Our standard coop with a custom built in small pen for chicks or introducing new chickens to the flock
Silkie mum with 5 chicks in the main section, and silkie mum with 3 chicks in the the smaller pen
We had a fox try and get in to the mums and babies, luckily they hit the wire floor and havent tried again
